A PIECE of MILL VALLEY HISTORY
Design honoring the original house built at the turn of the century by an SF Bay boat captain was our team goal for this renovation.
Collaborating with long time Marin County Architect, James Coy, we enjoyed adding authentic character back into this beautiful, historic property. The house was purchased needing both structural and cosmetic renovations throughout, and the end result does not disappoint! We found ways to add innovative storage in the new custom kitchen while keeping the traditional charm. We also turned a sun porch into a master bathroom, creating a full master suite for the homeowner. We also created a gorgeous main level powder room out of the original basement stairwell- all within the original footprint of the house- taking this home from a two bedroom, one bath house to a two bedroom two and a half bath home. These are just a few of the spectacular improvements that were made, giving the homeowner a huge value add to this property.
